Two Nepali students have died in a car accident in the United States, while two others were injured. The accident involved students from Louisiana Tech University.

The Louisiana State Police are currently investigating the tragic car crash that claimed the lives of two international students studying at Louisiana Tech University.
The deceased, Rajan Yadav (22) and Rojin Oli (20), both from Nepal, died in a car crash that occurred on Saturday evening, July 13, shortly before 9 p.m.
According to the Louisiana State Police, Yadav was driving a Honda Accord with Oli and two other passengers when the crash occurred on U.S. Highway 80 during heavy rainfall. The vehicle reportedly slipped off the road, collided with a tree, and caught fire, ultimately becoming fully engulfed in flames.
Yadav and Oli were pronounced dead at the scene. The other two passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Louisiana Tech University President Jim Henderson posted on Facebook:
“At our university, caring is a cherished value. Let us continue to care for one another today and always.”
The university also announced on social media that counseling services are available for students. Walk-in sessions are offered in Keeny Hall 337, and appointments can be made by calling (318) 257-2488.
The university stated that the Office of International Affairs is preparing a memorial program in honor of the deceased students and is available to support the broader international student community.
This heartbreaking incident has brought deep sorrow and sympathy to the Louisiana Tech University family and the Nepali student community. The permanent addresses of the deceased students in Nepal have not yet been confirmed.
